So? If you listen to Led Zep you hear them plagerizing Robert Johnson and other old black blues players. LED ZEP WAS NOT ORIGINAL AND IS WAY....WAYYY OVERRATED.

Hey at least we can agree on that. Zeppelin is like the most over-rated band of all time. But Steve Fossen was a multi-instrumentalist and contributed a lot to the band. Howard Leese was awesome. Nancy co-wrote almost everything with Roger... Thus, the rocking.

I'd like to point out that you pretty much insulted me as if I had given you reason to, when I was simply saying the other guy couldve easily had that assumption. I understand being passionate but you really oughta simmer down.

Mediocre artist borrow, great artists steal. Be it from nature of other things. Creativity and originality is relevant.

Name a band you can throw on any album, and listen front to back. Zep has no song I don't like.

Overrated? Maybe. Greatest band? For sure.

She didn't have to be a heroin user to write a song about the drug.

One of the lyrics in this song is "lovin' and drinkin' and dopin"... I think that shows the song at the very least, has something to do with the vices of the culture. She's also singin' something about being "easy" in the end of the next verse. I think that person may have posted that comment as a joking assumption, but the song very well might be about heroin use. It's literally in the lyrics.

Dopin was s term used to describe getting high on anything, unlike today where "dopin" is termed to be heroin. Ann smoked grass, hell I gave her a join 5 years ago. Annie did blow and what not. So heroin is the ONLY 'easy" drug.

It's people like YOU...who state shit as fact with no facts that piss me off. This song was about this, this song was about that.....and YOU have no fucking clue what it was about. Devil Delight is just about a woman..person partying and having a good time.

Why is everyone on Ann Wilson like that? Yeah. She used to be hot. Whatever.

Nancy and Roger is where the rockin' is always coming from. They WERE the band. Even Leese and Fossen had more to do with Heart's sound than Ann. Ann is just a singer.... who sounds like every other 70's singer.

You know what, I don't know why I bother to leave comments about vocals anymore though. I seem to be the only asshole who doesn't find vocals to be important.

Nancy is where the rockin is always coming from? Sorry, acustic guitar, which you can't hear at all on Barracuda was a waste of time. "Ann is just a singer, like every other 70's singer.? No, Ann Wilson is NOT Juice Newton. That's why record companies wanted to sign Ann and not the fucking band. Steve Fossen? He makes Duff McKegan look like Geddy Lee.
Watching the demos (yes watching) from the 1985 sessions, Howard was the key. Nance can't play rocking solo to save her life.
