The 12.7 mm/50 Cal Browning Machine Gun

The 12.7 mm/50 Cal Machine Gun. The workhorse of the british army. Its a flesh and metal chewing, liquidizer. It was designed by the american John browning in 1921 and has been in service for almost 90 years. It has seen action in WW2, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. It fires 600 rounds a minute. It is a tried and tested design which will see many more years of service.

Its the caliber that does that. A lighter, more portable 50 would be nice. Quick change barrel too.
