00:1- 0:19 WAKE UP! WAKE UP! COME PLAY WITH MEEEEEE

sanctuaries do not carry anything in their hand so the elephant gains comfort and security that they will not be beaten...they are not asked to perform any tricks...they are allowed to just be an elephant and hopefully free to choose other elephants to cuddle with and try and heal from their past miserable lives.....all circuses and zoos are prison .....it is horrid what is being done.....would you give up and perform tricks?? or would you go crazy and refuse and get beaten daily??? and starved
-
in order for any elephant to do any tricks they have to be beaten and tortured into submission first.....this is done by chaining all for legs and stretching them down to the ground, beaten with a stick/bullhook, deprived of food/water.....when the elephant is totally given up....and does what it is told....then it lives a horrible miserable unhappy life....that is why these "trainers" carry these sticks...to remind the elephant what will happen if they don't do what they are told...

I am sure elephant would like to relax away from crowds and all the noise. Thailand usually treats elephants fairly well, however.

poor thing...elephant's belong in the wild and not for our entertainment...this a sad.

Playing?, I'm sure that they don't wanna be there

Title and video doesn't match. Wrong title for this video.
