i just bought a vox wah, i played it side by side with the crybaby and i thought the highs on the crybaby were harsher like an icepick sound. i talked to the guys in the store and they kept telling me about the problems with there crybabys and how you should only buy a crybaby if your planning to mod it.
well anyways, i fucking love this pedal.

btw dude, the c in celestion is pronounced with an s sound.

before you consider that its the wah prophetdude, it could be the conections that are dodgy, if you check your leads first and make sure they are in good condition. if its not the leads a bit of deoxit spray from radio shack will probably fix it

hey man, i'm kinda of a young guitarist and i have this VOX v847, one from a few years ago when they were still made in america, and it's treble end gets this really bad hiss, so when i rock it back and forth, it creates this almost scratchy sound. The Pot isn't scratchy, i had it recently cleaned at a guitar shop, but ever since i got it back, i've had this hissing problem. Anything?

I've never had a squeaking issue, and I've never tried the Jimi Hendrix wah...sorry i can't help, but good luck
