This song describes a love that has endured through the years. It was inspired by an older couple I know who is still so in love. The song parallels a "Prince" and "Princess" theme. In this relationship, the girl has found her "Prince" and she feels like Cinderella on the night of the ball in a fairytale love story. They start out as children dancing hand in hand and end up holding hands in the hospital as she slips into eternity....still in love and faithfully committed to each other.
