Obama STFU you Wall St. Puppet!

Are you people listening to what Obama is saying?!?! He just gave you insight into his anti-captalism views!! When the President of the United States says there comes a point where people have "made enough money". . . then THAT truly is a big f'ing deal"!!!!

@lhooq21 Well it would be facist if the govt went in and siezed an asset without judicial review and was upheld. Read about Italy and how Mussolini took over the Italian businesses as a member of the Facist party, you can just google it.
-
@dkkght46 Well I dont know about the 'facist' part but their is a lot to consider.
-
@lhooq21 Good points but you realize that the banking industry is the most regulated in the USA. You want to give vast New Powers to the Secretary of the Treasury. The Treasury Secretary will have the power to order seizure, without meaningful judicial review, of any firm he deems "in danger of default." This seizure must be upheld if the government produces any evidence to support it.
Sounds like a little facist takover...

@dkkght46 Their should also be limits on the 'casino' devices that add nothing to capitol but risk investors money. Also rating agencies need to be cleared from the influence of banks and investment houses. Their is a lot of regulation needed to keep overzellious bankers from running the economy into the ground.

@lhooq21 Congress should instead establish accountability by creating a modernized bankruptcy procedure for these large institutions. This would ensure that regulators cannot revert to politically motivated bailouts and other forms of government intervention. Simple isn't it.
-
@lhooq21 $50 Billion Bailout Fund. This "Orderly Resolution Fund" is a clear indication of future bailouts. It is funded by taxes on financial firms, a cost that, as the CBO reports, will ultimately fall on the firm's customers, employees and investors.

@lhooq21 Yeah open debate like healthcare when 80% of the people did not want it. Now we have death panel and its going cost a bundle so whats in your wallet? This bill was written by Chris (Countrywide) Dodd and still does not address the start of the problem and that is fannie & freddie.
Obama could always talk the talk, he needs to ,We NEED him to, walk the walk Now. We the people are behind what you say Mr. President and as long as your actions mirror your words we'll be behind those too. "Do it, Do it right, Do it right now!"

Obama,
it's becoming clear to even the most retarded GOP supporters, the Republicans are stupid criminals and should be removed from office and imprisoned. These Republicans (Senators&Representatives) work for the Wall Street Big Banking mob. Come 2010, kick them out and put them all in prison.
