@selfnuskil30 It was a different time. "Coloured" was considered polite and acceptable back then, by both blacks and whites. I guess it was preferable to the many derogatory terms a lot of southern whites liked to use. Such a sad history.

@zeak62 He didn't die in a crash. He slipped away quietly in the back seat of the car while he was being driven to a performance. Even more tragic to die so young from what were probably preventable physical causes at his age.

Yes this is really Hank Snr,I have had this record for nearly 50yrs,It's a family heirloom,I listened to it as a child so I know it's the real old Hank,I have nearly all his recordings but when I try to post them the powers that be stop me,otherwise my channel would be full of him,I have his full funeral service and at some point will try to post that,You can hear Roy Acuff and Red Foley sing during old Hanks funeral,
