Hello, (first of all, I'm french and please forget about my english writing)
Is it possible to print in four-color (quadrichromie in french) on this press (with 2 pass...) ?
Is there any problem of registration doing this ?

@punkoid76 As a safety measure, the autoplate will lock you out of the machine if it is interrupted during mounting or ejecting of plates. You can reset this by manually removing the plate from the affected unit and the error will clear itself. But if the black autoplate guide is too easily flipped, then the tension support spring arm of the autoplate guide may need to be inspected and adjusted for proper tension. This is a quick and easy procedure for a service tech.

Are you kidding? Its a great little machine, and very easy to run, its more hands on than some of the big presses, but its pretty simple stuff...if only auto plate feeder didn't get confused every time I flick the plate feed board over by accident, which requires a call to heidelberg to reset the damn thing!

@abuspa Sorry to hear of your problem, and of course we will be happy to help. But you must contact your local Heidelberg agent for service in your country. Please let me know if you do not know how to contact Heidelberg and I can try to assist.

Poly plates are rubbish for the auto plate function they always stick to yhe cylinder when your trying to take them out! plus the dampening system sucks too!

Poly plates need to be removed right away while the plates are wet; if they are dry they will stick to the roller while being ejected. Also if the plates are longer than 505mm 19 7/8" they will hang up and not eject properly. The poly plates also need to be .008" thick; if thinner than this they will lay limp during ejection and not spring out of the tail clamp while they are being ejected.
