Different Worlds (Original Instrumental) By Jeff Sterling

Different worlds is what this is. I used a loop of Zakir Hussain playing tablas as the base rhythm track. I put a big tympani style bass drum and a concert snare as the back beat. The voices are a sample from a Gregorian chant. The brass and strings are a synthesizer. I played 2 tracks of guitar through a kid's practice amp. This is one of those "Moment's Notice" pieces I do. These just happen off to the side when I am working in the studio on other projects. I was working on a movie score with Mickey Hart, Zakir Hussain and some other world class drummers at the time this came about. This is what happens when everyone else leaves and it's just me in the studio late at night.
