@plamenj Hmmm. I was actually going to say the exact opposite in my comment. While effects and cool transitions might have made this a different AMV altogether, I really think the song and scene selections are so powerful that they stand on their own and the excess editing is unnecessary. A lot of the scenes are explosive and jammed with action, so I really appreciate that the transitions and effects were simple. With that said, I would love to see how it might be taken further. :)
I was just browsing around for an FMA AMV using MCR's "Sing!". I thought you had very good scene selection -- my only criticism is that you didn't take this video farther. You may want to consider throwing in some transitions and other effects. I am personally a big fan of your 2:25 - 3:10 segment. I felt the song and anime can make a very good video. Yours can be a little better executed, but as you mention this is your first AMV, I'd say you are doing a good job! Work on this one more!
This is Anna's husband. I have been making videos for about 20 years. I don't have any constructive criticism for this except to say that it is good. There is nothing wrong with this video...
Just finished this series and man, does this AMV do a good job capturing the feeling! ^_^

THIS AMV!
OH MY GOD I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS FOREVER!
You, my friend, need more tags on this, so it's easier to find...I literally spent the last two weeks looking for this ALL over the internet...
