06-10-2011 Protest Budweiser and Vicente Fernandez - Puente and Sound Strike Protesters Chanting

Budweiser has continued to support SB1070 and the Republican party of Arizona. Although the Hensley corporation states that they help the Latino community by donating to organizations such as Friendly House and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, these are organizations which ask for identification in order to provide services to the community. The donations made to these organizations are just a small fraction compared to the millions of dollars donated to John McCain's campaign and the PAC fund (which funds the Republican party).

Vicente Fernandez has signed on for a 3 year multi-million dollar contract with Budweiser. Although his managers say that he wants to come to cheer up the people in Arizona, he is not helping us or cheering us up by working with the company who is hurting us by funding hate! Please help us continue the pressure on Budweiser, make a call today and ask Vicente Fernandez's manager to cut his ties with Budweiser and really stand with the community.
