Fab video. Hiya is that convertible G wagon or is that removable hard top you have fitted? If so it looks fabulous with the big windows. Could i ask Where can you get them from? Restoring a G wagon at the moment and love the idea of the open roof. thank you !

WhenI bought my G it came with the hardtop, and a soft top included. I don't know where you could get that.
The soft top is different than the regular canvas top as well . It's made from 4 pieces and you can remove only the sides and the back for a Safari look, or you can fold it back like in a convertible car.

If you watch the video you'll see that traction for going forward was never a problem...but the snow was pulling the truck towards the passenger side (dropoff) even though the wheels where pointing left. SoI intentionally let off and went back trying to turn left and out of teh snow :)
This is the biggest snow we ever had. Tons of fun if you have a truck like this ;)
