Emily performing Itsumo Nando Demo (Always with Me) in Japanese at the event -A Peaceful Evening: Music, Dance, Theater, Art, and Nuclear Disarmament. An event held at CAPA on April 30, 2010 to memorialize the 65th anniversary(August 6th) of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and bring awareness to the issue of nuclear disarmament.
There were speakers and several students performed(monologues, poetry and music) for the 27 delegates from Japan and about 50 other attendees. Emily was the only one who sang in Japanese. : )
She did a great job and although her musical accompiament flaked on her she did just as well without them!
I did a terrible job recording it... but in my defense I was holding a three week old and just using my tiny camera. I wish I had continued to record after she finished because she got quite an applause, but I wanted to clap too and ran out of hands!! :)
At the end of the program one of the Japanese delgates came over to tell Emily how well she had done. As always she made me very proud! It was a great evening!

Ok I don't like to leave bad comments on the vids, I just close the window if I don't like something
But this time I need to say something, she doesn't really have the voice to sing itsumo nando
It requieres a soprano voice, she should really sing some other kind of songs
And she doesn't seem to feel what she is singing she just reading the lyrics
