"" is a series of portraits taped in 2004. While the subjects were aware of the camera, none of them were directed.
On a summer day in 2004, my brother and I went for a drive in the country. Once we found a secluded enough area (charred mattress frame included) we began to burn a copy of Kurt Cobain's "Journals." This wasn't because of a dislike towards Cobain, but more of a recorded proof that at least one copy of his personal thoughts hadn't been read.
Afterwards was a spectacular drive home with a storm approaching from the east. It was one of our last outings together before his departure that August. We didn't see each other for two years.

That must have been a hard thing to do, and i respect you for it. It's good to know someone cares about Kurt Cobain's privacy. :)
