Honda Hornet 250 - Jiasien-Namasia Tour (Part 1/3)

Riding my Honda Hornet 250 on a little tour from Kaohsiung City to Chiayi County and back (total about 250km). Partially there were badly damaged roads due to typhoons and torrential rainfall, which are part of life in Taiwan.

The video was taken with a "HT 10" Action/helmet camera and slightly post processed for image and sound quality.

This first part of the video takes me from Chishan to Meinong, Shanlin and Jiasian, all the way to the Holy Mount Zion. There my HHO generator holding brackets broke and I had to fix it with rubber bands temporarily.

On the way I also passed through the area of Siaolin village, which was wiped out completely in a catastrophic huge landslide in August 2009 when typhoon Morakot lashed out at Taiwan. Back then nearly 700 people were killed there.
