  • Nice compilation - quite funny to see those early "Survival knives" again. I had some too and they were of the worst quality you could think of :o)

  • @steintanz I think many of us that take these skills seriously have undergone a gradual transition from one tested knife to another. And lots of us started out with those silly knives back in the day. lol. Thanks for stopping by, Tim. Your opinion is always respected on my channel = ) Take care my friend. ~Wolf

  • You are absolutely right of what you saying in this video. But how do we walk around with our big survival knives? First it's ilegal second we gonna look like maniacs to the other people. You have to leave the big blade at home. And as you say a small blade is not really a survival knife.

  • @nitroflesh My SK is always within reach. I carry a backpack to and from work, loaded with essentials. My SOG is always on my person. The point really isn't what you carry, but the fact that you do carry it. Or have it at your disposal. Mine rides well in my waistband, under my coat, even in Walmart. It is not a legal problem where I live. If it is where you live, maybe the people should DO something about that. Thanks for commenting pal = ) Large or small, just have one and be prepared. ~Wolf

  • Common sense and i agree about keeping your knife on hand, but where I work I can't carry a knife or even have one in my vehicle. so its it the bugout bag at home

  • @struug Where do you work? Communist China? Screw that job. lol. Sorry, I'm used to freedom, and being treated like an adult. I am often told I can't bring my side arm into a restaurant also. Hahhahahaa! Right-O then = ). lol.

  • @nitroflesh In the U.S. As long as its open carried its fine, some states it can even be concealed. As a matter of fact i went for a walk with my Ka-Bar kukri machete the other day :p

  • @FatDaddy4Fun State Prison's tend to have rules like this.LOL

  • @FatDaddy4Fun Thanks for answer. I live in Europe so you can imagine about the laws. I do carry a folder all the time and even that's illegal. But I'm willing to take the risk. Take care

  • Good video, Tommy Lee Jones. I could have watched another 10 minutes.

  • Told it like it is.
