DeafHope is excited to introduce a series,"Never Underestimate the POWER of Deaf Women" to showcase inspiring Deaf women sharing their wisdom with Deaf women everywhere.

Tia Albert, Entertainment Industry Make-up Artist
Rachel Soudakoff, the Future
Directed & Shot by Jules Dameron
Gaffer Arleta Meeker
Edited by Erik Call & Jules Dameron

Oftentimes government, school, and social policy makers are afforded the opportunity to see the vlogs in Deaf Summerslam 2011 and they start chipping away at deaf rights like you been seeing in the newspaper website articles in the recent months.

Rez is the epitome of a successful woman. I loved her quote by Laurel Thatcher Ulrich. I’m going to extend tempusrerumedax’s quote by bringing in my boy, Henry Ford, he once muttered “Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal.” Move Forward, My young Rez of the World, MOVE FORWARD!

Excellent video! Goosebumps allover. Obstacles aren't there to break you - instead they actually MAKE you who you are.
