This video describes the activities and research focus of the "Center for Inverse Design", a DOE Energy Frontiers Research Center (EFRC) aimed at predicting and synthesizing better and/or yet undiscovered electro-optical materials. The methodology could be termed "materials by design"--and as the video highlights, is analogous to the game "jeopardy!"--with the slant that the "answer" is a given set of "best materials properties" desired, and the Center for Inverse Design utilizes its unified set of unique capabilities to combine theory and experiment ("innovation without borders") to bring our next generation of materials. The focus is now on "solar", but other electronic materials will benefit as the Center's activities and interactions expand. PLEASE VISIT our website: www.centerforinversedesign.org

Thank you Department of Energy Office of Science!

(This video was produced by the professional scientists, but amateur videographers, that are the students, postdocs, and "more experienced" researchers of the Center for Inverse Design.)
