The 4th Annual Karaoke for the Cure 2010 is almost upon us.

Karaoke for the Cure is a fund raiser that benefits Lyrics for Life, http://www.lyricsforlife.org. Lyrics For Life is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to make a difference in the fight against pediatric cancer.

It was founded by Sister Hazel front man Ken Block in memory of his younger brother Jeffrey, who ultimately lost his four-year battle with cancer. Karaoke for the Cure features 30 contestants competing for over Seventeen thousand dollars in cash and prizes. You can download and print an entry form or get more information at http://www.starsoundskaraoke.com/KFTC.html. You must be at least 14 years old to enter the contest. There is an entry fee of $50.00. The entry fee goes towards the cash portion of the prize pack.

All entrants will also receive a free event t-shirt.

The group raises money through sponsorships, silent auctions and donations at the door. At this time the Platinum Sponsors are; Star Sounds Karaoke of High Springs FL, Chartbuster Karaoke/Big Mama
Recording Studio of Seymour TN, Paramount Plaza Hotel & Suites of Gainesville FL, and Thunder
Communications of Inverness FL.

Sponsorship levels are; Platinum at $1000 or more, Gold $500 to $999, Silver $300 to $499 and Bronze $100 to $299. Platinum, Gold and Silver Sponsors will be featured on the back of the official Karaoke for the Cure T-Shirts and also be allowed to post a banner at the event.

All sponsors will be listed on printed material. Platinum sponsors will have their banner prominently featured behind the singers to be visible to TV and YouTube broadcast.

Sponsorship can be made in the form of in-kind donations, for the silent auction or cash/check donations.

Sponsorship checks should be made payable to Lyrics for Life and mailed to Karaoke for the Cure 17306 NW 240th Terrace, High Springs FL 32643.
