Welsh isn't difficult to pronounce....it's a bit stupid to say something like that really. It's similar to saying....that 'I'm glad I wan't born in France because I don't speak French'. Anyway, some of your pronunciations were correct there.....while a few were way out. eg 'y' in that sentence should sound like 'duh' without the d but maybe not as harsh sounding. English is inf act more difficult being a mixture of French/German. English spelling is very difficult for this reason

Very funny and intersting for mother tongues, It is a good idea to illustrate a language .
I would be very happy if I could see the same in my own local language, bearnese (Occitan-Gascon spoken in South West of France).

A QUICK WELSH LESSON FOR ENGLISH PEOPLE. This is a universal greeting used in wales. When you meet a welsh person say this for a guarnteed warm smile and welcome "Veen Hoffee meare-cred-tew." and smile plesently as you say it.

Well, I don't know much Welsh, but as 'tew' means fat, I don't imagine this is much of a greeting.

That is an insult to the welsh language!! you could at least try to pronounce the words properly!! the welsh language is dying and all you can do is mock it!! you obviusly don't care because you don't even try to pronounce it properly!!

Sorry you think this is insulting, but in fact we respect Welsh people and the Welsh language. We can't pronounce the Welsh words properly because we're English and we've never heard them spoken!
