Blues Cruncher overdrive+boost pedal, tube screamer type overdrive, selectable led or transistor clipping, boost switch, alpha pots, neutrick jacks, Hammond 1590 BB enclosure. I m playing Fender Standard Stratocaster MIM trhough Fender Frontman 65R.

  • @Nero321Music of all the solid state amps I tried only found Crate and Pevaey to sound ok with overdrive pedals.

  • @Nero321Music Hey man thnx :))) well I really idn have a chance to try em loud with any distortion pedal, I dont think that he sound so great in high gain park. Overdrive chanell sounds better with distortion pedals probably because of more gain stages in the preamp of the amp. I bought this amp only because I love how it sounds on clean :). Cheers dude :).

    i wanted to ask you about the fender frontman 65R

    i got the same amp, and when i use any distortion or an overdrive pedal on the clean channel of the amp the sound is so dry and sharp, but when i use it as a booster on the distortion channel it sound pretty good..

    do you happen to know by any chance what causes this and how to fix this? (maybe a special pedal can make it sound better or something)
