Taken from the bootleg titled "Driftwood," a decent audience recording of Pink Floyd in Oslo, Norway, August 29, 1994. The two nights in Norway are notable for the live performances of Marooned during the encore.

No words can describe the solo here. Gilmour is absolutely on fire here, playing his signature riffs and improvising some unheard ones. 10X better than the one played in New Orleans. 100X better than the one on PULSE!!

First of all, we're talking about CN solo, in a PF gig! Of course Gilmour would play it.

Secondly, Gilmour didn't always play the same things in the solo during the 94' tour. Every solo had changes, maybe small, but still, Gilmour never ever plays the same thing twice.

And if these are not good enough... I've spoke to people that were there that night, and they say it's him. ;) :P

@musicofthen.... I have to agree you are 110% correct this is definately the best version i've heard... Dave's my favorite guitarist and always will be, I have forever been inspired by his creativeness when it comes to improvising.. I was blown away by the solo from the volcano appeal gig (late 80's) he sways completely away from the normal riffs and plays as he goes, its awesome... But this?!?! This is just unbeliveable!! for the record that is DEFINATELY GILMOUR! any true fan can tell! lol..
