They've spoken about this before. Orders came from on high that their budget was cut and they had to save money, and Firefly was a very expensive show to make. The TV exec said she knew how great the show was and really didnt want to do it, but that was the tough decision that had to be made. It REALLY sucks, but no-one pulled it for not liking it. Hopefully Firefly will be back soon!

@playsbba018 Where did I blame Murdoch? I insulted him but I didn't blame him. I said it was his company's fault which it was. Fox was the one who cancelled Firefly. I was just stating the facts. Fox aired the episodes in a messed up order which meant no one really understood what was going on so people didn't watch it and it got cancelled. Even if did blame Murdoch, so what? It's called a joke, moron! If you defend Murdoch and his phone hacking scumbag minions, you're too stupid to live

@joevictor53 I highly doubt Rupert Murdoch was the one who decided to pull FIrefly. More likely, it was a committee of TV analysts who decided to pull the show because of low ratings. I know your a left winger and want to blame the conservative media icon for all your troubles, but it simply doesn't apply here. Kindly continue thumbing your ass.

@EquestriaDJ Yes. Firefly is too much awesomeness for 1 TV series
-
@EquestriaDJ If the words "You can't have" are in front of them
@thedupper No, people are right to blame the morons at Fox for Firefly's cancellation. Sure, less people knew about Firefly and watched it than they wanted but part of that was Fox's fault. They aired the episodes out of order so the show never stood a chance. The order they aired them in was 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 4, 5, 9, 10, 14, 1 and then they missed out episodes 11, 12 and 13. Now, to most of us that wouldn't have made a lick of sense but it did to prune-face Murdoch's company.
