@Farbar1955 I completely disagree. The advantage occurs during the riding, not during the drinking. Drinking will be well under 1% of the riding. Air resistance is proportional to surface area perpendicular to the motion, and by eliminating the water bottle, you have effectively completely eliminated that resistance, which is the most significant source of air resistance on a normal bike (besides the rider of course).

@micas96 could be similar to the camelbak bottles...some sort of anti fungi material...

Cleans up , modular, Fuselage , chassi , blunt profiles .. shall i go on ?
All marketing gimmicks
Specialized has too much money . that is it ..

@farbar1955 i disagree, the rider is only moving for only a few seconds to insert/remove tube from the mouth. were as a bottle is constantly there, constantly dragging in the wind.

FUCK UCI

Whatever aero advantage there is in hiding the water bladder inside the bike was destroyed when the rider raised his hand to bring the tube to his mouth and then to lower it down. Only have to do it one or two times and the overall result is the same as if you had a regular water bottle in a cage.

What happened to the integrated brakes?

@Skandoro Nice question.... My guess is that it is made from some kind of material that is resistant to bacteria and fungi, rendering cleansing unnecessary.
-
@Skandoro You can remove the bladder.

so by saying ignoring the UCI rules, this is the lightest bike made by specialized?
how do you clean the water bottle?

it carries the water bottle internally to reduce its radar signature.
