Is she to be buried in Christian burial that wilfully seeks her own salvation?
I tell thee she is, therefore make her grave straight.

  • 5.50: that's the very moment I saw for the first time Hamlet/Branagh ( it was a bonus of 'Shakespeare in Love' DVD). I thought : Whose voice is this? Kenneth Branagh? Oh, Dear! I MUST GET IT (as I can't get HIM! LOL!)

  • And now only £4.98 from Amazon.

  • 24,99 EUROS two years ago...but I have no regrets!

  • I have both region 1 and 2 and if it comes out on Blu-Ray I would still buy it again.

  • This is my favorite scene from the movie! Billy Crystal is very good - perfect for the role

  • the fact they've got an actor as awesome as simon russel beale to play just a humble gravedigger kinda makes this scene funnier :) + billy crystal's awesome too :D

  • @uofc57 really? I thought his accent was godawful

  • reminds me of 12th grade english class when we watched this....

  • @421cbe I mean it was not a generalization

  • @MyLIfeStudios I am also 17. I wouldn't preach it if I didn't know from experience.

So thank you for trying to stand up for the youth of America. I was directing my comment towards the youth of America who are a disgrace in regards to how unwillingly they are to look at the cultures that have created the very things they love today.

    This was a generalization though.

  • @421cbe please do not make rash generalizations that the youth must be uncultured just because you ran into an uncultured youth , I'm only 17 and Hamlet is among my favorite literary works , and it is not the only classic that holds a spot so high , mostly because of how funny and quick witted prince Hamlet is.

  • "Upon what grounds?"

    "Why here in Denmark."

lolz, priceless! Shakespeare, thou cracketh me up!

  • @inmemoryofmango ahahaha, you must be illiterate, and young. How the youth nowadays are not cultured how they should be. Why did you watch this, if you have not appreciation?

  • This takes me back to Grade 11 English, sitting up at the front, cracking wise with my friends and nailing essays from kilometers away. We got to watch this at the end of the course. Good times.

  • @inmemoryofmango Not sure how you got to this video, but you shouldn't insult a classic as boring just because you can't understand the language.

  • Can you believe this motion picture was made with just under $18 million (much of which went into production values)? Most of the actors either charged very little or nothing at all. And you can tell guys like Billy Crystal had a lot of fun making this movie.
