whats the difference between the mach 1 and the svt cobra?

It will sound a little quieter and not as raspy! My buddy put a catted mid on this one later that day. Still sound great!

i need to change my exhaust and get more hp but i dont have a lot of money what should i do?

You can always muffler swap, but exhaust alone will not get you a big increase in HP. On a dyno is were you would notice the deifference!

As far a money goes though, the best investment would be:

Intake

Exhaust

Hand Held Programer

Gears are always fun too. There inexpensive for mustangs!

@thomashibbs 03 cobra has independent rear suspension, mach is solid rear axle, mach also has aluminum block as where the cobra has cast iron one. Cobra has forged internals, mach has forged crank but not pistons or rods. Mach is 10.1:1 compression, cobra is 8.5:1. Cobra has 6 speed T56, Mach as 5 spd T3650. Cobra weighs about 350lbs more than a mach.

Thats the more technical side of it. lol, but the main dif is that the cobra is blown. lol

This was my Mach 1 and I actually wound up going with the Bassani Catted X pipe because for a daily driver it was just to loud for me. Sounded badass but the drone inside the car was fairly loud. Plus I had 4:10 gears which made the car have higher RPM's at freeway speeds. I now own an 04 Cobra that has the exact setup I had on my Mach. Borla Stingers cat back and Bassani High Flow Catted X pipe.
