  • Awesome! Thanks for posting. I am excited to have a normal life again, my big sister is going to be my living liver donor next month. She is so selfless. I wish there were more people like you and her, then not so many people would have to die from liver disease!

Become an organ donor people! Please, it saves lives. It's easy to agree with that statement but until you really have become one... links how to on my blog

  • you are a great person....im crying... my dad wont come to the fact and is in denial and wont go through with anything because he has end stage liver disease and hep c and a meld score that was 20 went down a bit...and i wish i could give him the same... thanks so much! idk

  • This is very touching to me. I am in the same circumstance as you were but its a little more complicated. My father is in need of his liver and there are not very many people that could be a match or that would be willing to give him their liver. He is in prison and so I am pretty much an only chance for him. I am soooo nervous and have questions for you about the healing process and the pain. If you wouldnt mind writing me my email is mariamacguire@gmail.com Thanks for sharing you're awesome!!!

  • just want to appriciate your courage, very few of our kids can do such thing to the parents really impressing

  • Well this is Danny...I just got to see the video and it looks like ur scar is a little better looking than mine...I wish they would have used the glue for me instead of the staples. I am glad to see you are doing well. Life around here is pretty much back to normal for me as well. Take it easy man.

  • Hey...Excellent...Your a great Advocate!!!

Great to see your doing so well...My son did the same for me near the same time and our recovery was near the same time as yours there in Pittsburgh! You and your mother, Astar, were a great inspiration!! Take care,

    The Harris', Grant and Danny
