  • @raginroadrunner its a 89 F-250

  • @raginroadrunner i actually don't have a clue man.. its been sitting there for the longest..

im thinking about selling it along with a c6 trans that it came with for like 100 bucks.

  • @chamblizi .........use a small piece of sandpaper..lightly sand a small area of the top tank next to the filler cap...If it is painted black it is copper as aluminum is never painted..if it is an older car it could be brass..but underneath the paint the color of the metal is "Brass"..so in short..99% of radiators are copper....you're on your own..Good Luck........Thx............RR

  • @raginroadrunner well how do i tell then what my radiator is made of..... its painted black and i don't think its aluminum

  • @chamblizi...no metal ever used for a radiator that I ever saw in over 50 years of twisting wrenches was made on anything but Copper, Aluminum and early on Brass..no ferrous metals were used due to rust and the convection of heat is not good with anything else......Thx....RR

  • @raginroadrunner FOR A SECOND i was like that did not answer my question but it did..... magnetic what drawn the conversation together so if its made of regular material a magnet should clink to it correct?

  • @bearkid4u ...what do you want to do with it????....RR

  • @chamblizi ..Radiators are made of two metals..copper and aluminum..neither are ferrous so neither have a magnetic pole ( attraction)..sand a part of the top tank to see what color the metal is..aluminum is the color of aluminum and copper is color of copper............RR

  • @raginroadrunner hey how can i tell if my radiator is aluminium

  • hey dude you would not know anything about aluminum radiators would you?
