PSFK and YouTube hosted a Good Ideas Salon in the Bay Area. For the event, Mia Quagliarello (Product Marketing Manager - Community YouTube) moderated a panel of community experts — Jen Burton (Senior Community Manager, Digg), Heather Champ (Director of Community, Flickr) and Matthew Stinchcomb (VP - Community, Etsy) — to discuss what can be learned from the passionate people who visit these sites, how relationships are fostered at scale, ways to engage with users, and the amazing creativity that can come out of vast online audiences.
this was actually a really informative and enlightening video. I wish mia had spoken as well in response to all of the questions she ask since I am a member of the "Youtube Community" but it was still very insightful. I feel I have a better understanding of how the companies view their users.
