Army Helicopters
AH-1F Cobra, AH-64 Apache, UH-60 Blackhawk

Rotorfest 2000
Brandywine Airport
West Chester, PA
Sunday October 15, 2000

IN THIS VIDEO, watch as the Apache, Cobra, and Blackhawk depart Brandywine Airport and before doing so, put on impromptu demonstrations and a couple flybys.

If you are interested in purchasing DVDs of specific aircraft or of airshows, interested in everything related to airshows (where the jet teams will be, all airshow performers, airshow reports from airshows I have attended, previews of airshows I will be attending, etc.), and/or everything related to aviation - including spotting guides to my favorite airports and military bases and aircraft factfiles, please check out Steve's Airshow World at www.stevesairshow.com .

  • jjjazzycraig: The AH-1F Cobra is still a perfectly capable and viable attack helicopter even today with the upgrades & enhancements they have employed. The UH-60 (and even the UH-1 Huey) are still capable aircraft in their own rights. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I have yet to see any other country's military make anything better or more modern than anything the US presently has in its arsenal. It's all in how you use what you've got.

  • Awesome, I never get to see the 1F's my hubby used to work on them

  • @JiffJaffa Excuse me!?! You clearly have no concept of manners, jackass! I didn't ask for your opinion & until I do, keep your bullshit insults to yourself. Have a nice day.

  • @tchapman1977 what the fuck do you know about viable!?! buzzwords....clearly your old. you don know youre cobra asshole from your huey dick. move on fuckface and die.

  • ah 1 van kem hon ka 52

  • @tchapman1977 all true...i just wish we had some designs on paper...the fleets are getting old and sadly, no money exists to replace them...AIRBORNE.

  • @jjjazzycraig It's certainly all well & good to maintain a competitive edge, but new technology also has flaws & issues that have to be worked out before they can be considered combat-ready. Also, in retaining the competitive edge, that also doesn't mean you have to scrap or toss out the existing tools in your arsenal in the process.

  • @LordReaper117 I wouldn't know anything about that but you may be right. Certainly the Apache is more modern & can be augmented to fit more mission profiles than the Cobra, but the Cobra still has a lot of life left in it & I hope that it continues to faithfully serve the US for many more years to come.

  • @tchapman1977 also i believe that the ah-1 has a smalled profile on radar than the ah-64

  • BTW. this is super cobra

  • Uh 1 the best and no one can beat its sould. love it,..
