this is just proper Alpha male shit. tony is just out of hospital and is reasserting his place as the top dog. he knew he had to do this to re-establish his position as boss.

@omegaray83 I disagree. You could tell that the guys weren't respecting T as much as they were before. He needed to re-assert his dominance. He couldn't do that just verbally. He also had to assert that he was still physically the strongest of the group as well. In the end I believe he needed to prove to himself just as much as he needed to prove it to the guys.

Generally, I like Tony Soprano but I personally feel like this makes him look like a prick. I understand he needs to assert he's still the alpha, but personally I felt this was really unfair.

Not for nothing these are the type of scenes that piss me off about Tony Soprano. Like beating up the dude to reclaim being a man is alright but don't do it to someone who's being fucking loyal to you. Should've had the big dude invite a juiced up friend and fucked him up instead.
