    I don't think his 7 Olympic medals think his squat should be any bigger.. a double bodyweight squat has been said to be a goal for anyone looking to compete at high level power based sports

    Most of his leg strength is in his lower-upper leg (as in just above his knees) which is the most important area of the body for a cyclist to target for power. Squat relies alot more on the whole quad and the core + lower back from a stability point of view.

    THANK YOU, if he really focused on weightlifting he would be a BEAST. But he's a cyclist, which makes it even more impressive!!!
