I'm sure that bishop would hate having to listen to the Islamic "Call To Prayer" chant 5 times per day. I used to hear it all of the time, and I HATED it!!!

Play the bells 24/7 but at volume that won't be heard off the church property. Bishop and neighbors can all be happy. Well possibly unless the bishop had other motives.

Once a week would be plenty methinks. Another example of the religious trying to force their beliefs onto everyone. On a side note: AFAIK there is nothing in the buble that says you have to ring bells so there is no real religious reason to do this other than to piss people off.
