Rock and Roll Legend- songwriter artist Essra Mohawk performs Ready for Some Good News! a song she wrote with Richard Fleming. Ready for Some Good News is one of my favorite songs, not just Essra songs, but one of my favorite songs by anyone! I know I'm way over due for some good news. I'm glad to be getting some now. In this video, she is performing live in Nashville, TN where she lives. Playing with her are Kathy Zebron and Walter Egan

  • Essra, you're simply the best. love you dear friend, and miss you terribly. Juan sends his love too

  • @Dekyiful Well said...no one comes close to Essra in her talent, versatility & staying power! Younger artists could learn quite a bit from her storied career. I both salute & thank you Essra.

  • ...one of the greatest singer/songwriters of our times...I agree ...what's with the audience? Having a good time and yakking...nah...it's just a drag...with someone of Essra's stature it's just ignorance.... they obviously had no idea of what a giant she is...I salute you gal and those incredible songs you've created - timeless music with guts and passion.

  • March 30, 2006, live at Q'Dobas in Nashville, TN. A restaurant, not a venue.

  • Essra-- from riot grrrl to riot mama -- can stirs the soul and punch the gut.

  • @JoggynSmyler Essra Mohawk RULES!!!

  • for some reason I'll never forget the day I heard THUNDER IN THE MORNING broadcast over WMMR back in the 70's..amazing...I just loved it and never forgot it.. Enjoy my PACK IT UP song..song about going home...everyone is determined to go home..so I also gave the song a determined sound...you'll see what I mean.. ENJOY!
