With all due respect, most American do not have the faintest idea of what democratic socialism is. It has NOTHING to do with communism, and many were taught it somehow symbolizes giving up individual rights.. it's really on the contrary. But I do realize it's hitting my head on a brick wall trying to emphasize this, those who understand already know, and those who do not - already hate.

So far Obama has handled the banks with kid gloves, knuckled under to the pharmaceutical companies, is about to abandon the public option to placate the insurance companies(and the so-called Blue Dog Democrats they have in their pockets), backed off defending gay rights, supported controversial aspects of Bush policies in the courts, and provided a massive bailout for the banks, AIG etc. This is a socialist? Only in America.

Funny - I saw this episode. I admire both Michael Moore and Bill Maher.
Someone here mentioned Nader. He's probably the best candidate, but what is more important to me than that, is "not McCain". Nader is not going to win (unfortunately), but Obama's definitely an infinitely greater choice than McCain. We can't lose our country to another Bush-man. Seriously, I can't be believe we did not impeach Bush?! But we did Clinton for a BJ?! Anyway, I hope Obama wins in a landslide. Say no to Repubs.
