Over the last 50 years, legendary icon Willie Nelson has continued to be an enduring and compelling presence in music. The troubadour mixes up elements of folk, blues, classic country, western swing and a little gospel during his versatile Soundstage set.
Nelson wrote more than 2,500 songs and released close to 300 albums. He is recognized worldwide as an American troubadour, poet, author and actor. As a philanthropist, Nelson has helped mobilize support for the American farmer, both as a founder of Farm Aid and more recently as one of the nation's most recognized advocates of the use of biodiesel.
