  • the part about ft. meigs is wrong... she got ft. meigs and ft. detroit mixed up

  • @jswitze Thanks for watching the video. All the information about Fort Meigs we got from actually visiting the Fort and from their museum, so if the information is "wrong" it is an issue for the museum. Thanks!

  • @agricola Canadian identity goes back to 1557. National independence has nothing to do with identity.

  • @obcanobe1 - I am related to Naoquageshic or Chief noon-day(anishanabe)who faught along side Tecumseh... and in the battle that claimed Tecumsehs life noon-day had pulled his body off the battlefeild, these people were never romanticized like the plains people, which to me makes them even more the heroes they were and still are.

  • "Desperate measures". This seems to be very good even though it is from an American prespective. I am from Canada. Even though he died a warrior he has given us peace through friendship.

  • I am told I am a desendant of Tecumseh. My Grandmother was related to Babel W. Shirrell born 1835. I Lawrence Co. Indiana. Married and they had Sherman William Tecumseh or Shirrell. birth. Sept. 20 1866 in Shoals, Ind. Died in Hoquiam Wa. 1936. down the line there is a Loumisa Dell Lufcy. My Great grandfather was a half bread named. William Tecumseh Shirrell . They moved to Hoquiam Wa. where he became chief of police.
