I miss you too babycakes. COME HOME SEPT 2 FOR A COLOUR ME DRAGG SHOW! I have kelli on fb, maybe ill talk to her. His surgery went awesome and we got to see the results when his drains came out yesterday. I'll massage the hell out of his manchest if thats the drs orders ;)

oh and if he says to massage the area after the check up DO IT I havent and well now it doesnt look as good as it could.

She might give me a bad name but you should talk to Kelli about it if you havent already, not to scare you with any part of it, but I think it was rough for her, Im sure she has some helpful hints for you, if you dont have her on FB I can help you get into contact with you.

it's interesting how we both have the same topic this week bc both of our guys are getting their surgery this week! aiden is getting a double incision not keyhole but I'm sure that alot of the recovery rules are the same. thnx for the vid, glad i'm not alone! :)

I dont know much about the surgery since my boyfriend hasnt had it yet but shea butter, vitamin e, and cocoa butter and calendula oil help reduce the appearance of scars and once the tissues are thoroughly healed, soft massage can break up extra amassing scar tissue to prevent puffy thick scars and regulate blood flow and nerves through the fresh skin cells.

The most important thing is to remember, or help him remember, that he needs to NOT MOVE his upper body as much as possible. That means he will not be able to reach for things or lift up his arms to put on shirts, and he may need help sitting up or getting up out of bed. If you move or stretch too much, especially right away, the scars can widen dramatically, or sutures around the nipples could separate.
