'Let It Shine' (aka 'The Beauticians' Song') is an original number that was written for Loretta's makeover scene in a recently staged musical adaptation of MOONSTRUCK.
The footage is a mashup of related scenes from the movie.

Yup, it's great material! The original screenplay is already quite stagey and very lyrical, so it pretty much demands to be adapted into a musical. You end up with the best of all worlds: the orginal narrative plus the added value of a whole raft of new songs!
And yes, it's still called Moonstruck.
