WoW: Protection Paladin solo Shade of Aran in Karazhan

I have been quite busy lately with college starting again, so sorry for not uploading any new stuff. I will upload a couple of old videos in the comming days to act like a filler. This is one of those.

I solo'd Aran ages ago but never bothered uploading it. Well here it is. It's a very easy fight, just like the rest of Karazhan. And that means easy gold! The only problem was my mana due Aran being a caster. But it was still very easy.

Oh, and before I get the 'loliknowitbetter-comments': I ALWAYS use Seal of Light when I first attempt a boss instead of Corruption (just to be safer). Aran is most likely doable with Corruption too, just as most other bosses I did.

Your gear disgusts me... Well done! Been enjoying your videos for a looooong time. I really hope you will be putting same amounts of effort into soloing in cataclysm, even with the class itself being nerfed. You, are one of the few reasons I stick to my paladin, because soloing raids, dungeons is just great and you are a great inspiration.

On a final note I wanna talk about my own experience in Karazhan as ret, everythings doable apart from Romeo & Juliette, also prince might be tough.Ret PoV

@werebaine48 cant do paladin/druid/lock :p druid/lock = 1 guy :( we wanted to try that but.. :P anw 3man its way too hard tbh, we need 2 ranged tanks and 2 normal tanks for the switches and a healer based on the tactic we used.. we tried piling both of them and nuking them with mortal strike up (and we were 4) and it was WAY too slow to be worth the try :P

Lol Oops...for Emperors......cant say i remember the fight for them...But I think u needed 2 tanks for it so id say a druid and a Pally tank with another Well geared priest healer. Should be good...if u dont need 2 tanks then just the group i mentioned above .

@Shei77 I would go with a Paladin/Druid/Warlock group...Pally tank or healer...Druid tank or healer as well...Warlock i would suggest a demo spec for sustained dmg and survivability. Umm...Twins would be rather difficult but C'thun shouldnt be too bad of a problem....just watch a video called "Warlock soloes C'thun(First phase)" something along those lines I mean(title) yea...that should be all u really need

@werebaine48 u know if emperors would be possible as 2/3man? tried a few times but failed horribly :P We got a rogue/paladin, priest/warrior, and druid/warlock available for 2/3mans, any combos we should try? really only thing left for us to solo/2man (and this time as it seems we'll need 3 :P)

Have u ever managed to solo Romulo and julianne as prot? Or anything in AQ40 apart from first 3 bosses? like the optionals? or 2man twins/cthun? only things left for me, still fail at them (and zul'jin but havent tried him for a month +)

@benderbg I wouldn't say they're "numbered," but it did get significantly more difficult. I've been trying to solo stuff on the PTR and it's much more difficult. My first time in I tried heroic UK & got spanked...hard! Wow. Honestly, I'm doing about as well soloing stuff on my PTR warrior because of all of his healing abilites.

i tried to solo the opera event several times but can never get past it, so far i failed against the first part of romio and juliet cus she heals too fast and the wolf thing because i fight him for too long and he despawns

Our soloing days are numbered once the 4.0 patch goes live and we lose sacred shield and dispel magic as prot :(
