im from australia and i am of lebanese descent and people ask me things like:
Can you guys eat bacon?
does your mom wear a scarf?
is your dad a terriost?
are there bombings everywhere in your country?
all i have to say is that people a very ignorant and misinformed

And how should that come??? Your religion doens't tolerate other religions, and your not moderated to fit in a welfared country! Almost 90% act like parasites and live on the back of the western citizen! and believe me I can go on and on, and on...!!!

"Islam" our religion is a religion of peace and tolerance among people. Before you can make a biased judgement like this I encourage you to read about Islam. Take the Lebanese government, it is made up of christians, druis, muslims, catholics that have united respectfully. "Kingdom of Heaven" is a clear sign of how Salah il deen was respectful to christians. There is a mutual relationship btwn west and east, Since the USA is bigger than most of the middle east you benefit most from our oil.

The numerals Indians created were passed on to the Arabs through translation in the House of Wisdom where Arabs took that information, simplified it, added more to it, and created the number 0. Take an Arabic Culture class in university, it is very interesting what you will learn in there, I am serious.

yes you are right its indian, passed to persian and than to arabs. the decimal system is indian. the arabic contibution is fraction system developed in syria by Abu'l-Hasan al-Uqlidisi
