  • @loriloristuff Billy West voices Cecil, Maurice LaMarche does an EXCELLENT JOB voicing DJ, and Captain Huff'N'Puff is voiced by Jim MacGeorge (his original voice actor from the 1960s)

  • @monstajopps YES!

  • Wow, this is actually good. I love the poses and everything. Even the colors, and the writing on this cartoon are just great, and extremely stand out from other bland 80's cartoons. John K. did a great job on this show.

  • ok that has to be maurice la march ..

thems two togeter with all the others this it a great treasure a rare gem for mankinds media history to preserve with the awesomeness that is the internet!

  • DJ and everybody else have good voices, but whoever is doing Beany is way off. Beany sounds more like Rocky.

  • DJ's laugh is amazing! Nyahaha! =P

  • you probably watched re-runs of the original beany and cecil, that was played for a long long time. only 5 episodes of this show were ever aired, and it only lasted a year.

  • I distinctly remember watching Beany and Cecil with my father as a toddler, maybe earlier? I read this show was canceled shortly after it aired in '88, in which case that would make it one of my earliest memories because I was born in '85. Perhaps one of the reasons why Ren & Stimpy was my favorite show as a child? Crazy how things work out that way....

  • This show was on for so short of time, I never caught an episode. It had potentual.Doubt it will ever again be revived.

  • Not bad. The animation is lively, the gags are funny. Most of the voice work is good, but I think they made a mistake casting Beany with a real kid. The original voices (Daws Butler in the puppet show; Jim MacGeorge in the cartoon) were much funnier.
