This car will be auctioned off in January 2011 so I can start my 6 wheeled Tyrrell project.

  • The project has been held up by the recession but is now back on track. The exhaust system is almost done and the computer and wiring work will start on June 4th. I have the basic body shape done and I'm presently working on the engine cover and fan. Because I have other people involved in the project now I cannot forcast a completion date but the car will be actioned off as soon as testing is complete.

  • two flat 6 engines bolted together to make a flat 12.

  • Where did you source your EZ30R's and for how much if you don't mind? Awesome project and work!

  • hope you dident based your measurements of the model

  • Sorry to hear about the wasted time, but please keep updating. I love your guts to attempt something like this. Also, I'm dying to hear it fire up, even if the engine(s) setup is distinctly 'un-porsche' :)

And a Tyrell 6 wheeler? Fantastic. I love the 6 wheel F1 car.

  • Well, it looks like the past 9 months was almost a total waste of time trying to get, so called pros, involved in my project. The exhaust is mostly done and I have the computer and most of the wiring harness but I have to find another computer/wiring wizard to get the car running. The other guy didn't have the nerve to tackle the job afterall. The car weights about 2000 lbs. While I find a new guy I started building a 2000 F1 car using a 2004 Cadillac XLR. Yes, you can call me Mcgiver.

  • @JackN2469E how much does this beast weight?

  • As of 8/9/11, the car is months away from completion due to tight funds and two subs who have their own priorities. So, I move to plane B. It's a 2000 Ferrari F1 car bases on a 2009 Z06 complete rear assembly, a 2004 Cadillac XLR engine and transaxle rthat Im have bolted together and a C6 Corvette front suspension that is highly modified. It will have an aluminum tub bolted to the front of the engine. I have to build and sell that quick to make money for the 917. I will add it to this list.

  • @ottocars Thank you. Hope you have a lot of money to buy the car!!!

  • YOU ARE UNBELIVEBAL

  • Fantastic!
