Starscream Masterpiece Takara US Version

This is Takara release of US Version Starscream claimed clean sheet version instead of Hasbro's weathered version. Bought RM338/- on 25 Feb 2008. The only difference I found was the Takara sticker on the box. It's just a Takara rebadged. Quality doesn't come close to MP-03

Well............lets see...both versions dont have that big red and white F on his tail fins.........more lighter blue then hasbros........desepticon symbols on the wings are upside down (but idk if the were on hasbros) but nothing a little rubbing achohol and reprolables cant fix :) Nose cone should be blue...........the cocpits a little darker which looks better.........robot mode looks GREAT!!!! im geating thundercracker next week because he's my fav. seeker. WHICH ONE SHOULD I GET?

@TheNerfistKidzWeNo Oh, its u. D kungfukid. You are d 1st to say that Tundercracker is your favorite seeker. Most voted Starscream. I would prefer Takara/Hasbro make the Starscream as big as Optimus Prime MP01 as they are supposed to be around the same size. Coloring is secondary. I say go for Hasbro coz it's cheaper and having same quality as Takara's.

Should I go for the Takara or Hasbro I was told the Takara breaks easy.

If u r planning to go for US Version, take Hasbro as it's cheaper. Takara US version is in fact Hasbro with 1 additional TAKARA sticker on the box with higher selling price

hm..im real glad i got my mp04 convoy for only rm580....mp03 (purple-ish starscream) is much more cooler...but thats just me.

Haha..me too..Too busy with studies..Yeah..it does keep popping out but somehow i managed to make them stick...

I've repainted some of my TF's using Gundam marker..U can check it out on my channel..Thanks a lot bro!!..:)

Huh, UHU glue can stick? I've tried that once but it kept popping out. If u need some toys that u can't get there, u can try XL Shop (Japanese products n Takara TF) & miniature hobby malaysia for online order. They do provide postal delivery. Also, won't be over expensive. Type on search engine n u'll find them. Because of work, I haven't repaint any of my TF so far :(

Yeah..i bought one Bandai's spaceship model kits..(rm30 only) It requires glue...Model glue that is..lol...i assemble them using UHU glu..Which that makes it looks bad...

Haha...Cant find anything much here....Good for u since u hav a painting tools now..U can repaint ur old models back! Hehe

Me, just a phone operator only. These days, they bring in real cheap China made model kits. Good for beginner. Just make sure there's airbrush n tools or else, the model won't look nice. I've wasted dozen of tanks (badly painted) back then. 1 tank 1/35 scale costs RM69.90 after discount RM50
