Sorry, my bad, the word "Akbar" literaly means "Bigger" and that is what I meant by greater...
-
First of all the biggest mistranslation of "Akbar" which actually and literaly means "Greater" Not "the great" or any other meaning, if Muslims would truly read their holy book and actually learn the language first the whole world would be in better shape, strip all of the excess bagage that was added and you would have a clear and cleansed book...

@hollowsam1977 A woman is as human as a man & as equal. I consider it so, & this is what Islam considers. But I agree it doesn't always happens in heritage. In many cases women get more. It's like I give you $1000,000 & give your brother $100,000 but I also give him real estate worth $900,000
-
@hollowsam1977 Additionally, & let's try to make it simpler. Saladin had always been admired by many Muslims & non Muslims. On the other hand, extremist on both sides despised him. Saladin was inspired by the Caliph Ali, & little by the Caliph Omar. During the 7th century many Christians in the middle east didn't see much problem with Muslims. Google "the council of Chalcedon" to know the reason.

@hollowsam1977 A lot of what you said is true. But as of what happened more than 1300 years ago, I surely only have history books. & I read fairly many. Books I read are written by Arabs & non Arabs. Muslims & non Muslims. Some but not all western authors have many biases against Islam. Some (but again not all) Muslim authors have many biases for Islam.

@Kaifan01 how can u assert that there was no prosecution or rape or beheading? were u there 1300 years ago? im not anti any religion i just try to use my brain before i believe what people tell me. u seem comfortable believing thing that supposedly happened more than 1300 years ago (book, hadith etc) im just saying we should be careful before trusting anything, especially thing that we dont understand, we have to admit that nobody understands the coran today but everybody wants to apply it

@Nawas7 I still dont have an answer, do you consider a woman as a human being equal to a man and deserves as much of heritage or no, if you answer "both are equal" you are not considered muslim anymore since you deviate from the 'divine' book, if you answer no, you will admit that the smooth talk is just hiding inequalities, i'm not saying that the book is wrong but my personal opinion is that today muslims dont understand it and keep trying to apply their own political interpretation of it

@hollowsam1977 Muslim women had voted to elect the Caliph Otham back in the 7th century. 500 years before magna carta. Even during the past 100 years we had Muslim women who were elected to rule their countries more than The US, the UK, or even France.

@hollowsam1977 Prophet Muhammad & his companions never persecuted any body. Obviously you're full of anti-Islam propaganda. Watch what the professors in top western universities that are interviewed in this documentary have to say. "The idea of Muslims going with swords telling people to convert or die is not accurate” Dr. John Renard

@Nawas7 I dont like this particular example because, whether we like it or not, civilized greedy stockholders will suck the last drop of blood in everyworker so they become richer and richer, and it has always be the case between rich and poor in history, also, i dont consider the western stockholders at all as reference of ethics, im just saying women have to be respected in important matters such as : voting, equal heritage, not consider an object that you can beat when you like
i watched this vid in my world history class a month ago really liked it shows what islam has done for mankind as a whole though algebra i could skip out on the ;)

@ThePumpkininja 100 years ago, opportunists used Antisemitism to gain political goals. Today's opportunists are using Islamophobia to gain political goals & make money.
