What a fucking fabulous song that I don't have on my mp3 player, son of a crack smoking chicken cheese fry.

I'd never heard a Dylan cover song that did the original any justice... until this one. Its simply heart-wrenchingly moving.

i'm not sure who the dislike came from, but you're pretty dense. either you didn't really listen to it, you don't know what you're hearing, or your hand slipped and you meant like.

@TheVirgoClown Yeah if you go to Wolfgangsvault website and listen to this song on there, the deepness of his voice is noticeably different than the one you posted. Btw, do you happen to have his 1974 Montreux version of Since I Fel for You?

morrison is brilliant...aint it odd tho that most of the best dylan tunes i have are covers...

I love Van and i love Dylan. I never heard this version.. It is so great.. Van is the man...

Wow. This is the best Dylan cover ever.

Best song ever! I first heard it performed by Manfred Mann's Earth Band....borrowed the CD at the library..again and again and again. Found this version on the internet at some point and I have been hooked to Van Morrison ever since. Went to see him at the Olympia in Paris some some years ago and it was amazing..unfortunately he didn't play this one but I'm still hoping to be able to hear it live some time! He truly is one of the best artists of our time!

Astonishing beautiful and moving as only Van can make it happen. One of my favorite Dylan songs but the way Van performs it is even more intense. No words to describe the feelings.
Thank you, @TheVirgoClown for uploading this! I had this on an mp3 player that broke and alas, had none of the material backed up. It's good to hear it again! (Also appreciate your user name!)

Thank you so much for posting this...have been looking for it for quite some time. Heard it on an obscure radio station here in Cleveland. I knew it was Van the Man, but never heard this song before. It stopped me in my tracks.. and being such a long song, I waited in the parking lot of where I was going so that I could here it out. Tears were streaming down my cheeks. Could never find it on youtube until today. Thank you so much.

Did you slow this one down a bit?? I have this too but mine sounds like he's going a tiny bit faster thus making his voice not sound too deep

@Manu9078 Nope I didn't tamper with it at all. Thats interesting that there's a different version out there
