cant keep it all straight but I still love this groove.Saw them 73 or 4.Just love them after all of life's changes.I mean that war they all make shit about to being a family man and loving Ma. Actuually Grandma and 9th Marines,2nd Battalion,Echo :-)

@darrylhaynes I met the drummer of this band this last summer, he is a good friend of my dad's. He has records and posters all over his walls.

To make a long story short, after a 1975 breakup, the band reunited in 1977 and stayed intact till Pete (drummer/vocal) left in 1984, Mark Olson (keys) & Ed Guzman (percussion) died in 1990 & 1993 respectively. Ray Monette (guitar) is now with Motown's Fuink Brothers & Gil Bridges (saxes), who owns the rights to the Rare Earth name, is the only original member left.
