We Kansas City Ukesters purchased a brick in support of our wonderful Kansas City landmark - Liberty Memorial and Smithsonian-like WWI Museum. We sometimes are invited to play WWI uke songs at the museum. Here I sing (croon) over our new brick.

Ain't She Sweet was penned a bit after WWI, but Doughboy Veterans would have enjoyed this didi soon . . . in the roaring twenties.

Come strum your ukes and sing along on simple songs at our monthly meeting. It is 2nd Monday of the Month, 6:30PM, St. Pius X Church Basement, 55th and Woodson, Mission, KS 66202. Go to kcuke.com for details.
