Filmed in the spring of 2003 using an Arriflex 16BL camera. This footage of JMK 646P was one of several filming sessions. This footage was going to be intercut with some other scenes filmed in Colet Gardens, Hammersmith, so that's why it appears rather drawn out.

  • yea looks nice, late 60s, early 70s style...then sometimes looks like a phone camera, lol

  • @PulseUltraFan No it wasn't a phone camera. I uploaded this when the quality of You Tube was similar to a 19th Century pinhole camera. I may get all my 16mm film professionally scanned soon and upload this again because 16mm film is as good as HD when it's properly done.

  • @paulph12002 Thanks that's interesting to know. I just emailed my mate who also had a Consul GT that I filmed. He reckons banger racers may have got it. Sorry to learn of this because it was a nice car to look at but unknowing to me when I bought it, it was a carefully disguised rust bucket. I shot a lot of 16mm film of this car and hopefully will upload more footage when I can afford to have it telecined.

  • @EustonFilms Thanks for your comment. If a car shows as unlicensed it usually means it's been scrapped. If this car had serious rust in the A-posts there was probably other rust on it too. If a car is sorned it will be clearly marked by the dvla as being on sorn. But cars that were already off the road when sorn started in January 98 don't have to be sorned or taxed, unless they are put back on the road. So these often show as unlicensed even though they still exist in off road storage.

  • @paulph12002 I'm the one that shot this film but I had to start another channel because of email problems. I sold the car to a guy from Basingstoke. He was a classic car dealer and I pointed out all the faults to him. I was under the impression he was going to restore it as it had some serious rust problems in the front A posts. It could well be sorned or would that still show up as being licensed?

  • Nice video. Looks like JMK646P has sadly gone to the great scrapyard in the sky, as it's showing as unlicensed since Dec 2007.

  • Nice granny

  • How different was the world and our country when that car was in production

  • shame about the modern cars in the background lovely granada mk1 i have a mk1 ford capri facelift

  • @peterhynds - Yep, I've driven on that road several times myself (Hart Road, becomes quite obvious @ 0:41)

  • Wow! apart from the road markings this is very convincing! the music is a little early for the model of the car, because its late 60's to very early70's you really did a good job on this, goodness where the music came from? reminds me of, doctor in the house, man about the house, etc, [PLEASE PUT ME OUT OF MY MISERY]!!! good quality filming, reload it one day when you have time [Digital isn't all its cracked up to be!] i cant believe you did this 2003 are you sure? I had the corsair. Yellow.

  • @airscrew1 yea i understand, i could imagine such a fine quality! this one to me is good tho, the music and the titles give it that real vintage look and feel
