Been listening to this song so much lately that making a cover was a necessity! Awesome groove, and even more so in the live versions! :o

  • this is really good!can i ask what your amp settings are for this song?

  • @ElThrashinFlea Thanks! :)

Well, I'm using the Zoom G2.1u guitar pedal, ready-made patch D1. Bass 10/12, mid 4/12, treble 10/12. Gain 60, tone 5, volume 80. A little bit of delay too, it seems...in guitar, I use the bridge humbucker, tone about 10/12.

  • you're really good! i can only play one leevi and the leavings song on my acoustic. i wish i could play deep purple. you rock!!!!!!!!! more vids!!!!!

  • @StayCurly Thanksies :) I rock, fog yeah I do! xD

Heh, one song is still better than nothing! :D And if you wanna learn play some more tunes, teaching can always be arranged ;) Quite a few DP riffs are actually rather simple to play...

More vids? Will do! But you too, show the world that you totally rule and radiate utter awesomeness! GO FOR IT!

  • @oRecluse99o Ok, try searching for YUP - Lihavia luurankoja (= Fat Skeletons). It's got some pretty nice chord progressions and melodies :)

  • @oRecluse99o Hmm, interesting. I mean Pantera is the only one I really know of those, and just a few songs really! :D

  • @oRecluse99o Right on, ty!

Well it's weird, currently I'm into vg music... :D I did start with DP and AC/DC when I was about 15, and have listened to all kinds of rock and metal bands afterwards. The three main ones I concentrated on were Deep Purple → Judas Priest → Megadeth in that order. Now I'm listening mostly to vg music, though I've discovered the awesomeness of live DP again. So much friggin' energy... :o

    How about your influences? :)

  • @ESPSROCK Thanks man :) This song is friggin' awesome, Purple live = pure kick-assery!

  • Really great video man, awesome groove :P
